The EDIT interface
The EDIT tab is where you add and edit the content you have on your simplebooklet pages. From here you can add the following: Add: Text and text blocks. Images and image blocks. Clipart and shapes. Videos and Audio files. Code, embed code, and various integrations. Hyperlinks and hotspots. Call to action and content buttons. Adding a Text Box
Adding Text To Your Page This takes place in the CONTENT page under the TEXT menu. When you select this option, you will choose between a number of preformatted text boxes. These text boxes all contain pre-built layouts to make adding custom text to your pages faster. Adding Images To Your Simplebooklet
From the simplebooklet PAGE CONTENT tab, you can add images/photos to your pages. These images can be resized and positioned anywhere on your page. You can also edit and apply treatments to your images. Your images are stored in an image container box on your page. You will be able to customize both your image and the image container. Supported Image File Types
You can upload PNG, JPG, GIF, GIF Animations, and SVG image files. Once added to your page, you can use the content tools to edit/style and resize the image.
Your Image Library
When you upload an image, we store it temporarily in your image library. This gives you quick access to the last 30 images you've uploaded to your booklets. It helps you avoid the work of having to upload the same image again and again for your booklet. To access the image library, first add an image block to your page or double tap an existing image on your page. In the upload tool, you will see a folder. You can add clipart to your booklet pages. These are svg images that you can scale to any size and will not degrade as you scale. To access the clipart: Go to the EDIT tab in the Editor tools of your simplebooklet. Select the MEDIA then CLIPART menu. The Clipart menu will open and show you a series of tabs containing different images. Adding Video To Your Page
You can add videos to your simplebooklet pages from any online video service you want. You simply need the URL where that video is stored online (youtube, vimeo, google drive, etc...) The videos can be displayed embedded in your booklet page or launched from a button to a fullscreen view. Adding Links and Clickable Hotspots
You can make any element on your page a clickable link. You can also add link hotspots which can cover a specific part of your page or elements on your page. We have these two methods because each one is effective in specific situations. Link Hotspot These are great for creating a specific area on your page that you want to act as a hyperlink. The link hotspot can cover just a small area on an existing element or cover multiple elements. You can resize it to any dimension you want. **
Content and call to action buttons
You can place an interactive button on your page. These are small, circular buttons that can do one of two things: encourage a customer to get in contact with you, or display additional content you couldn't fit on the page. Embed Code on Your Pages
If you are using another service on a different site and would like to add it to your website, you might be able to with the embed code tool. First, check if your service offers embed code or iframe code that can be copied. For example, facebook provides embed code you can use to display your feeds within any website page. Once you have the code copied, come back to your simplebooklet. Navigate to the page you want to add the code. Tap the CODE button. Tap Embed Code in the menu options.
Change Title, Author and Description
You can update the title, author, and description of your booklet anytime from the info button found in the top toolbar of the booklet authoring workflow. This will reveal the card associated with your booklet. Tap on the Title, Author, or Description and make the changes to your information, then click the orange save button. Rearrange Your Pages
You can change the order of your pages on your simplebooklet by using our page order tool. Go to the EDIT tab in the simplebooklet editor. Tap PAGES Tap PAGE ORDER In the new popup window, drag and drop your pages into the order you prefer.
Delete a Page
You can delete (remove) any page in your booklet. Open your booklet in the EDIT tab and select the PAGES button. Select the DELETE PAGE button. A new window will open displaying all the pages in your booklet plus the current page you are on. Tap on all the pages you would like to delete. Select the delete button at the bottom of the page.
